Ezekiel War Update October 2024
Oct 11, 2024
Interesting developments are unfolding on our journey toward the war prophesied in Ezekiel 38 and 39. We will have to wait and see how these play out but analysts are expecting big things before the American election in November.
On October 5 a shallow earthquake shook the Iranian desert in Aradan in the Semnan Province. The strange thing about the earthquake is there were no tremor warnings. The epicenter of the quake was reported to be near a faultline. An Armenian seismic center did capture an image but it was not the usual tremors preceding an earthquake. It looked like an underground explosion.
Many are speculating the earthquake was caused by a nuclear test since the epicenter is close to a nuclear facility. North Korea conducted a nuclear test that set off an earthquake in 2017. The October Iranian test, if it was one, occurred at a depth of around six miles, perfect for hiding any traces of a test. The earthquake was felt as far away as Tehran and not long after Israel felt a weaker tremor.
Suspicions are increasing since Kamal Kharrazi threatened Israel with nuclear weapons and as of late September and early October Iranian officials have continued their threats. Since Israel has prevented the victories of Iran's proxies and eliminated Hezbollah's leaders and their replacements, Iran is backed into a corner with the one deterrent they have left.
According to Middle East sources, they believe America is weak and has no intention of invading Iran to help Israel destroy nuclear sites and capabilities. It is true this would be a difficult task since the sites are in deep caves underground and in the mountains. Iran has about eight facilities scattered across the country and are heavily fortified. Iranians who support their government say Iran is not Iraq and they are not Saddam Hussein.
But the exiled Crown Prince of Iran, Reza Pahlavi, said Iran is ripe for a revolution. The regime is weaker than at any other point in its history. He says the Iranian people want change.
Add to all that the missing general of Iran's Quds Force, another meeting between Iran and Russia and a raging leader in Turkey.
Rumors are circulating that Brigadier General Esmail Qaani (Ghaani) was an Israeli spy who had a heart attack while being interrogated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard. It was reported he hadn't been seen since September 29 one day after Israel eliminated Nasrallah in Beruit. Qaani was the successor of Qasem Soleimani who was assassinated in January 2020.
Another facet to this intriguing story is the recent meeting of Putin and Iran's new president. President Pezeshkian, said, "Economically and culturally, our communications are being strengthened day by day and becoming more robust." He is hoping they will sign an agreement later this month at a summit in Russia. An alliance? Putin stated, "We actively work together in the international arena, and our assessments of current events in the world are often very close." He said a new world order is being created. That is probably not good news for the West.
And then there is Turkey's President Erdogan. He has been calling for a united Muslim attack on Israel. He wants to form a group of allies to accomplish this and is petitioning the United Nations to endorse a war against Israel.
With Trump urging Israel to act and his past four years, the Iranians know if he is elected where they will stand in foreign policy. So does Yemen, the Proxies, Turkey and Russia. It might be an eventful fall.
For those wondering about the meaning of the four horsemen in Revelation, it seems they might be riding now, galloping to an inevitable conclusion. The colors of the horses, white, red, black and green, are the colors representing Islamic flags. Is that a coincidence? No idea...
But here is something to encourage you.
After Rosh Hashanah, Israel entered the year 5785. Jews who pay attention to these things say this is the decade of the peh, mouth, and this year is the year of the mouth and the breath, hei. Hei is specifically the divine breath. For example, Genesis 2:4 in Hebrew may be translated "through the Son's breath He created them." This is how Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, interpreted it when he wrote, "all things were created through Him" (Colossians 1:16-20).
By this we learn hei represents the power of God to conceive and create. Remember, this is the letter God added to Abram's name and Abraham had a son when he was 100 years old. So what will we see God conceive in Israel and the Middle East this year?
We are watching.
Perhaps you are more concerned with what God will do in your life this year. Then it is time to open your heart to God's breath and power to fulfill His desire for you. Believers are grafted in, God says. This year is for you too.
What have you been putting off? What have you thought was too difficult? What is that dream nagging you– ask yourself is it God working in you to will and to act according to His good purpose?
Praying for you and our friends in Israel.
